Hi, I’m Matthias. Samplesurium is my personal blog which I want to treat as my outlet for my (scientific) curiosity. The name is a portmanteau of sample and the German word Sammelsurium, meaning a random unordered collection of something.
Fittingly, I want each post to be something between a weekend project and a rough research paper draft with a GitHub repo attached to it. The topics of the posts will be living somewhere in the trifecta of agentic AI, ML in general, visualization, and DevOps.
I have a Bachelor’s in Software Engineering and then went on to study Data Science at the TU Wien. I now work as an AI infrastructure engineer at my alma mater and deploy and manage LLMs and the infrastructure around them for researchers and staff.
